Denise Raine Denise Raine
CORE

Denise has been involved in CORE since July 1991, originally, as a research and computer officer at Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association (July 91 - July 95), followed by overall responsibility for the management of the CORE system while at the National Housing Federation (July 95 - July 99). Since then Denise has worked as an independent housing consultant delivering CORE training to associations around the country. Tenant satisfaction surveys While at the Federation Denise was involved in the early development work of the STATUS questionnaire and in setting up the Feedback service. In the last four years Denise has worked with over 100 housing associations and local authorities. Denise also project manages the review of CORE logs each year on behalf of the Housing Corporation and the CLG.

Pete Lomax Pete Lomax

Pete has worked in social housing for over 20 years for both local authorities and housing associations. He is a qualified Housing Manager and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Pete has worked with RMC delivering CORE training for 3 years and has also undertaken over 50 projects with the Federation’s Feedback service since July 2000. During 2001 Pete was appointed as an Affiliate Inspector with the Audit Commission and has completed a number of local authority housing inspections.

Judi Watkinson Judi Watkinson
CORE

Judi has been working as an independent consultant, trainer and researcher for the past three years. Judi has worked in housing within the public sector for over 20 years – 12 years of which were at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation carrying out and managing a number of pilot projects – putting policy into practice. A qualified housing professional Judi has wide-ranging experience in both rented and leasehold housing management and has been running scheduled training courses and devising bespoke in-house courses for the Federation for 2 years. Other work includes research project management, analysing the Federation Status tenant satisfaction surveys, writing policies & procedures, residents’ information packs, newsletters and arranging events and seminars. Judi has also been involved in work on regional housing strategies and is currently chair of a housing association.
