The aim of this course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of CORE (why it is important nationally and for their organisation) and how to complete a log accurately

Course aim
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with a thorough understanding of CORE - why it is important nationally and for their organisation, the changes to any new log and how to manage the CORE process within their organisation, how to access and use the CHR's Online Report & Data Access Facility

Management of CORE within the organisation - including method of submission, job descriptions and existing documented procedures, promotion of good management practice with examples

The future and where to go for help and further information
Learning objectives/outcomes By the end of the training delegates will have a thorough understanding of the changes to the log and other problem questions. CORE Digital Training
Half day course – computer based training
Course aim The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the confidence to  input CORE data on CORE Digital and to identify and report back on problem areas.  CORE Digital is the data entry package supplied by the CHR (Centre for Housing Research) and is computer based.
Course outline
Assessment of individuals knowledge of CORE
Management of the CORE process - staff training, processes and procedures
Technical information - how to set up CORE Digital
CORE Update - new log, error rates and problem questions
Using CORE Digital
How to input log, the help facilities
How to validate a log and correct errors
Export logs to the CHR and for own use
How to run off a report
Access reports on the CHR's Online Report & Access Facility
Learning objectives/outcomes By the end of the training delegates will be able to enter data, validate, export data, and use the Online Report & Data Access Facility to download data and run reports
Who should attend?   Staff who are not familiar with CORE Digital and use the CHR software to entre data

Supported Housing CORE
Half day course
Course aim The aim of this course is to provide all staff involved in supported housing and responsible for completing both CORE logs and Client Record forms with a through understanding of both processes - why it is important both nationally and for their organisation and how to complete the forms accurately
